NOVA 94 Feet 11 & Under-Premier

Head Coach:  Bryant Lee

Bryant Lee coached our 9U Boys last season to a top 12 finish at AAU D1 Nationals in 2016 and a silver medal 2nd place finish at PVAAU D1 Regionals in 2017.  His team also finished as a semi-finialist at the King James Shooting Stars Classic in Ohio.  This is his fourth year coaching with NOVA 94. He also brings several years of previous coaching experience at the AAU level.  He has previously coached with the Fairfax Stars and the Annandale Boys & Girls Club where he coached two teams to D1 National Championship bids with one successful trip to the championship bracket.  He believes that the key to success on the basketball court starts with great fundamentals and stout, aggressive defensive pressure.

Bryant is a 1995 Roanoke College graduate where he helped lead his team to back to back 20 win seasons and consecutive ODAC conference championships and D3 NCAA appearances.  He is a two time All-Conference, All-South Region and 1995 Honorable mention All-American performer.  In 1995 he was named Roanoke college athlete of the Year and in 2013 he was named to the Roanoke college All-Century basketball team and the Roanoke College Athletic Hall of Fame.

Bryant lives in Springfield VA with his wife of 10 years Nikalette and his 4 children; Dejoun, Mathias, Malachi and Chloe.  He has worked as a Defense Contractor for 18 years and is currently a Program Manager with Raytheon in Springfield.

Assistant Coach: Darnell Norman

Darnell Norman is also in his fourth year coaching with NOVA 94 and brings several years of coaching experience having assisted Coach Lee with both the Fairfax Stars and Annandale Boys and Girls Club organizations. Coach Lee and Coach Norman count several former players who will compete at the collegiate level. Coach Norman is a 1995 graduate of Roanoke College where he was a four year letter winner and teammate of Coach Lee.

Coach Norman brings a passion for the game with particular skills in player scouting and evaluation.  Coach Norman believes in a disciplined but fast paced style of play that looks to turn defense into offense. Coach Norman seeks to teach the game so that his players not only are able to execute a gameplan but understand it from a strategic aspect as well.

Coach Norman is a local product having been born and raised in the DC area. Coach Norman attended Sidwell Friends School and has significant ties to the DC sports community. Coach Norman currently resides in Waldorf, MD and has worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer, in Alexandria, VA, for 17 years.
