Tryouts

Tryout registration is now open for all Nova 94 and Elevate Elite teams for the 2024 Spring/Summer AAU Season.  You can access the tryout registration page using this link below.

TRYOUT REGISTRATION

All tryout information (dates, locations and times for each age group) is posted below for Elevate Elite Girls teams and Nova 94 Feet Boys teams.   In order to participate in tryouts, all players must be registered.  You can register online on our tryout registration page which you can access from the link above.  There is a fee to tryout which is only $30.  The tryout fees are used to help cover the cost for all the gym space we need to rent for tryouts and open gyms.  The tryout fee is a one-time cost and covers all tryout sessions for an age group.  There are no refunds, even if you decide not to attend tryouts.  Any tryout changes will be marked in RED

Players should plan to attend all tryouts listed for the age group.  Attendance at at least one tryout is required for selection to the team, but players should attend as many tryouts as they can so the coaches will have a better opportunity to evaluate them.  Coaches for all teams in the age group will be at each tryout and then teams will be selected after the final tryout is completed.  Players will be notified by email if they make the team, or if they are not selected.  It can sometimes take several days for team formation to be completed as we have to finalize the rosters for each team in the age group.

Nova 94 Feet follows AAU age eligibility guidelines in forming our teams. As a result, for Boys age 13 (7th grade generally) and under our teams are formed strictly by age, not by grade.

The age eligibility rules for High School Grade Boys (9th, 10th, 11th and 12th) and for Girls has not changed and those teams are formed by grade.

Below are the age guidelines for Nova 94 teams for the 2024 AAU Season which runs from September 1, 2023 through August 31, 2024.  Please review carefully before you register your player to tryout for a particular team.  While Nova 94 will attempt to review all tryout registrations to confirm a player complies with the age requirements of a team that he/she is trying out for, it is ultimately your responsibility to sign the player up to tryout for the correct aged team.

BOYS 7 & UNDER DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 7 on August 31, 2024.

BOYS 8 & UNDER DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 8 on August 31, 2024

BOYS 9 & UNDER DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 9 on August 31, 2024.

BOYS 10 & UNDER DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 10 on August 31, 2024.

BOYS 11 & UNDER DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 11 on August 31, 2024.

BOYS 12 & UNDER DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 12 on August 31, 2024.

BOYS 13 & UNDER DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 13 on August 31, 2024.

BOYS 14 & UNDER/8th Grade DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 14 on August 31, 2024.

BOYS 15U/9TH GRADE DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 15 on August 31, 2024. Grade Exception: An athlete who is in the 9th Grade as of October 1, 2023 and who is no older than 16 on August 31, 2024 is eligible to play in the 15U/9th Grade Division.

BOYS 16U/10TH GRADE DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 16 on August 31, 2024. Grade Exception: An athlete who is in the 10th Grade as of October 1, 2023 and who is no older than 17 on August 31, 2024 is eligible to play in the 16U/10th Grade Division.

BOYS 17U/11TH GRADE DIVISION

An athlete can be no older than 17 on August 31, 2024. Grade Exception: An athlete who is in the 11th Grade as of October 1, 2023 and who is no older than 18 on August 31, 2024 is eligible to play in the 17U/11th Grade Division.

2ND GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 2nd grade as of October 1, 2023 and can be no older than 9 on or before August 31, 2024. For an athlete that is in the 3rd grade as of October 1, 2023 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 8 on or before August 31, 2024.

3RD GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 3rd grade as of October 1, 2023 and can be no older than 10 on or before August 31, 2024. For an athlete that is in the 4th grade as of October 1, 2023 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 9 on or before August 31, 2024.

4TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 4th grade as of October 1, 2023 and can be no older than 11 on or before August 31, 2024. For an athlete that is in the 5th grade as of October 1, 2023 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 10 on or before August 31, 2024.

5TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 5th grade as of October 1, 2023 and can be no older than 12 on or before August 31, 2024. For an athlete that is in the 6th grade as of October 1, 2023 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 11 on or before August 31, 2024.

6TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 6th grade as of October 1, 2023 and can be no older than 13 on or before August 31, 2024. For an athlete that is in the 7th grade as of October 1, 2023 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 12 on or before August 31, 2024.

7TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 7th grade as of October 1, 2023 and can be no older than 14 on or before August 31, 2024. For an athlete that is in the 8th grade as of October 1, 2023 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 13 on or before August 31, 2024.

8TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 8th grade as of October 1, 2023 and can be no older than 15 on or before August 31, 2024. For an athlete that is in the 9th grade as of October 1, 2023 wanting to play down, they can be no older than 14 on or before August 31, 2024.

9TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 9th grade as of October 1, 2023 and can be no older than 16 on or before August 31, 2024.

10TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 10th grade as of October 1, 2022 and can be no older than 17 on or before August 31, 2023.

11TH GRADE DIVISION
An athlete must be in the 11th grade as of October 1, 2022 and can be no older than 18 on or before August 31, 2023.
